Definitions

• These Terms may be modified by the Management without any prior notification.
• Restaurant rating may be changed/modified/split/merged/increased or cancelled by the Jury based on the number and quality of nominations received in each category
• The Event will feature categories for Fine Dining and Casual Dining. The number of winners and specific categories may be changed, modified, split, merged, increased, or cancelled by the Jury based on the quality and quantity of entries received.
• The decision taken by the Management based upon the observation & recommendations of Jury with respect to the evaluation/disqualification/qualification/adding nominations/ recategorization is final. No claims/queries raised with respect to the same will be entertained in this regard
• The Event Organiser is the IP owner of the Event. At no stage of the jury meetings will anyone from the Organiser or Event team be a part of the decision-making process.

Eligibility Criteria

• There are two Categories: Epicurean Stars (Fine Dining) and Epicurean Gems (Casual Dining), which will be segregated based on Fine Dining and Casual Dining
• The restaurant must have been established in India for a minimum of 6 months in the respective city as on 31st August 2024
• Restaurants from all hotels, Restaurant Chains and Standalone restaurants can be nominated
• Management shall have a right to eliminate any Restaurant from the rating in case of any third-party claim relating to IP infringement or any third party right.

Jury

• The Jury Member agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all information related to the Rating, including but not limited to, submissions, evaluations, discussions, and outcomes, unless explicitly authorized by the Organizer.
• The Jury Member will not disclose any confidential information to third parties without the prior written consent of the Organizer.
• The Jury Member shall act impartially and independently, without any bias or influence from external parties
• The Jury Member will disclose any potential conflicts of interest to the Organizer prior to commencing the evaluation process.
• The Jury Member will abstain from evaluating any submissions where a conflict of interest is identified.
• The Jury Member commits to conducting a fair and thorough evaluation of all submissions based on the established criteria provided by the Organizer.
• The Organizer reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and the Jury Member's participation in the Rating at any time, with or without cause.
• The Jury Member may resign from their duties with prior written notice to the Organizer, ensuring all current responsibilities are fulfilled or appropriately handed over.

Timelines

• The defined timelines are subject to change based on circumstances.
• Management and its sub-contractors shall not be held accountable/liable for any disruptions/stoppages/interruptions or cancellation of the ratings or its ceremony or any part of its processes because of any factors beyond its control.

Additional Information

• ●The decision taken by the Jury Panel based on its observation & recommendations with respect to the evaluation/disqualification/qualification/recategorization is final and binding on all nominees. No claims/queries raised with respect to the same will be entertained in this regard
• Management has the right to ask for documentary proof of information. If such a request is made and the Restaurant does not comply within 5 working days from the date the request is made, the Restaurant may be disqualified from the Ratings
• Management or the team appointed by Management will try to contact the Restaurant on best effort basis by any means deemed appropriate.
• In the event it is not possible to contact any Restaurant to obtain information on them, interview them, etc. such Restaurant may be disqualified
• Management shall not be liable in any manner for any mishap, accident, injury, or damages etc. of whatsoever nature, caused to the Restaurant during the ceremony. Further, Management shall not be liable in any manner for any loss, damage, theft, or any other mishap caused during the ceremony

Final Ratings

• The final ratings for each city (Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai) will be determined by the jury members in two segments termed Epicurean Stars (Fine Dining) and Epicurean Gems (Casual Dining).

General

• The Restaurant acknowledges and agrees that being nominated in these ratings does not entitle it to any prize or other form of consideration, as the event is exclusively focused on the ratings determined by the Jury.
• The Management reserves the right, at its discretion, to withdraw, amend, or add to the terms and conditions of the ratings at any time, with prospective or retrospective effect.
• All disputes relating to or arising out of the Event shall be subject to the laws of India, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction at Mumbai, India
• Decision of Management on all matters is final and binding on all restaurants and no correspondence will be entertained on the same
• In the event these Terms do not cover any question or complaint in relation to the, the same will be concluded on by the Management (for all other issues) or an independent body or legal team as appointed by the Management and deemed necessary
• The decision of management in relation to the interpretation of any of these Terms shall be final and binding on the Restaurants
• If Restaurants are unclear as to the Terms or any element of the Event or have any queries/concerns pertaining to the Event, they can write in with their questions, concerns or queries to the following email address: , management shall endeavour to the best of its ability to respond thereto.

Website

• Management shall not be responsible for:
• Any delivery, failures relating to the registration or uploading videos/presentations.
• Any SPAM generated messages as result of Restaurant accessing the Website
• Awards Management not receiving or rejecting any data
• Any lost, late, or misdirected computer transmission or network, electronic failures of any kind or any failure to receive entries owing to transmission failures or due to any technical reasons and
• Other conditions/situations or failures beyond its control
